The Pepita office is accessible by many modes of public transport: metro, train, bus… Bus? Usually, many buses stop in front of the office: the 60, the 56, the 21, the 12….
But right now? None of them stop there, because of the works!
On the left, the Schuman roundabout has been under construction since early 2024 and will be until mid-2026, and on the right, the building next to ours is being largely demolished and will be rebuilt between this fall 2024 and the end of 2026.
The bus stops located on Rue Archimède and located on the Schuman Roundabout have therefore all been temporarily removed.
To take the bus 12 to the airport, just walk a little further to our friends at the Hairy Canary bar; the bus stops right in front. So it is easy to have a last coffee or goodbye drink in this bar while waiting for the bus! Either the person who is not leaving is the one who invites, or it is recommended to pay upon receipt of the drinks so as not to leave without paying!
To reach the bus 36, you have to cross or go along the Cinquantenaire to go to the stop “Nerviens”, or go down the slope to go to the Maelbeek bus stop in front of the metro station.
For the bus 60, there is no more stop that took the tired pedestrian from the Schuman metro stop to the Ambiorix square…
All that remains is to rediscover the Schuman metro which, being underground, still works. On the other hand, during the European Summit, the entrance near the office remains closed; you have to go along the Berlaymont down to reach the metro and train entrance!
